Well as you can see, our site has undergone a major update.  All pages have been reduced in size to decrease load times.  In redesigning the site we faced a tradeoff between speed and content.   We want to give you lots of photos to look at because not only is a "picture worth a thousand words", the minerals really are beautiful to look at (but all micromounters know that - that's why they collect micros!!)  Hopefully, we got the right balance.

As a result of many customer requests, we have added a selection of larger minerals.  We hope you enjoy our selections.   We are currently working on many additions to this section which we hope to update in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

All additions to the site are highlighted in blue.  We have added  a lot of phosphates from Palermo #1 in New Hampshire and an accompanying photo gallery.  A major update to our European section is in the works. 

We have as usual restocked many items.  To try to meet customer requests we have also tried to increase the number of pieces mounted in 3.8 cm boxes;  the advantage of these boxes is that you get the mineral surrounded by a lot of matrix. For consistency, all pieces mounted in 3.8 cm boxes have a number in the 50,000 - 59,999 range.
